[nagdu] petting guide dog question

That depends. Depends on my guide's temperament and performance.
Depends on the person asking as well. I usually allow small children
and the elderly, with an explanation about petting if they haven't
already heard it. Usually, I forgo that though if my pup is able to
stay under control though. Generally, it's not the children who lack
understanding! Oh, I do aloow my dog's favorite friends to sinse they
are well aware of how I work my dogs and my expectations. At first, I
will remove the harness but usually relax athat once we have gelled as
a team.
