John, have they showed you in class how to tell when your dog is 
relieving? When you say that your dog spends a certain amount of 
time in the relieving area, is she loose or with you on leash? 
I'm asking because one way to know whether your dog is relieving 
is by touching her back very gently.  If she is in a hunched 
position she is pooping.  If it's more slanted, kind of like a 
slide, then she is peeing.  If you are aware of what she is doing 
when she's in the relieving area, then you will be able to see if
