[nagdu] They know the dog is working?

Depending on who it is and what i am doing, I'll sometimes show people why.
For example, kids. Most kids know about the dogs but some do not. I explain
that just like a policeman or fireman my dog wears a uniform while she
works. Then, if I have time and am not doing much except waiting for a ride
or something, I'll take off the harrness and show the kids that, yes,
holly's personality changes when the uniform commes off! They usually get
it. For some reason, this concept is somewhat harder for adults to grasp
although I haven't a clue why? Ann Arbor also has a lot of animal rights
people who claim to love dogs and can't concieve why we actually work our
dogs and have rules for them. What an idea! ----- Original Message -----
