I'm okay with most of this except for the part about service animals in
training not being accepted.

Hello everyone,

I want to share with you Jet Blue Airlines service animal policy. Please
feel free to pass along!

Policy:

Thank you for choosing to travel with JetBlue Airways. We appreciate the
opportunity to serve you.

In your reservation it is noted you will be bringing a service animal with
you on your JetBlue flight. Here's some information specific to your special
service request:

We encourage you to introduce yourself and your animal to an Inflight
crewmember when you board your flight.

Service animals may not obstruct an aisle or any other area used for an
emergency evacuation. Your service animal typically should remain on the
floor under the seat in front of you.

Certain unusual service animals pose unavoidable safety and/or public health
concerns and will not be allowed to fly with us (i.e. snakes, other
reptiles, ferrets, rodents and spiders).

Service animals in training are not accepted.

Service animals may not occupy a seat.

With the exception of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, there are no
vaccination requirements for service animals on domestic flights. If you are
traveling to Puerto Rico, The U.S. Virgin Islands or to an International
location, please check the policies for that country on our website.

Airport crewmembers will be happy to provide assistance to and from Airport
Pet Relief Areas for you and your service animal. Locations vary by airport,
so please ask an airport crewmember at the ticket counter or gate for
assistance and/or directions.

No information regarding your service animal will appear on your boarding
pass. The TSA simply asks that you have your animal out of its carrier when
you proceed through security.

If the animal is an Emotional Support/Psychiatric Service Animal, current
documentation (not more than one year old) on letterhead from a licensed
physician or licensed mental health professional is required to travel on
JetBlue. The documentation must state all of these points:

That the customer has a mental health-related disability That having the
animal accompany the customer is necessary to the customer's mental health
or treatment That the individual providing the assessment of the customer is
a licensed physician or mental health professional and the customer is under
his or her professional care The license number OR BOTH the type of the
mental health professional's license and the state or other jurisdiction in
which it was issued AND the date his/her license expires JetBlue provides a
courtesy "pre-check" of your emotional support/psychiatric service animal
documentation prior to your flight. It is important to always have your
documentation with you during travel in the event that questions arise. You
can fax your documents with your confirmation number to us at 801-449-2440
or email a scanned letter from your doctor as a PDF attachment to
SSRAlert at jetblue.com no less than 48 hours before your scheduled departure
for review. Please note, Microsoft Word documents will not be accepted.

If you have any further questions or concerns, simply reply to this email,
or call us directly on our Special Services Support Line, 1-855-ADA-LINE
(855-232-5463).

We look forward to welcoming you onboard your JetBlue flight.

Regards,

Special Services Team
