I use a soft terrier brush instead of a slicker. It has a flexible rubber
back with short, soft, blunt wire bristles on the front. I also use a brush
GDB gave out a long time back that looks like a big hairbrush. I use the
hairbrush first, then the fine-tooth comb, then finish off with the soft
terrier brush, et voila, a clean, sleek labrador.
