[nagdu] Joint health.

Agreed Raven, that's why it's important to closely research the brands you
use. Even for human supplements, the quality and amount of contaminants
present seems to vary significantly. I've read that liquid fish oil
supplements for humans often have flavorings and such that dog's don't need
and may not like, and I definitely prefer giving a liquid supplement over
pills. I prefer using a high-quality liquid supplement that contains fish
oil and only fish oil. I've heard of people puncturing fish oil capsules for
humans and squeezing them over their dog's food as well which would be
another good option.

The problem with most products designated for pets is that they were
formerly sold for human use, but were dubbed harmful and/or ineffective for
people. It's the same thing that happens with junk pet food. Pretty much all
the stuff in those packaged pet foods are the stuff that is not for human
consumption.
Personally, I do not use anything on my dog that I would not use on myself
in the same way. When I used to give fish oil, I used human-grade stuff and
it worked just fine. If there are ingredients in it that dogs shouldn't
have, you probably shouldn't have it either.
There are a few exceptions, emphasis on the few.
