Yes, and add to that you adjusting to being in college, without mom and dad
around, knowing that you can sleep through class and not feel the
consequences until much much later. Getting your own meals or not getting
them, dating guys your parents may never meet, all that is a big adjustment.

It would be good to learn the campus without the dog, relax and take your
classes and try to get on class next summer.

It can just be too much to try to learn a college campus AND get adjusted to
working a guide dog who also does not know the campus.
