[nagdu] Noise at the corner

Wait you said you wait for someone to tell you to cross, that assumes that
there is actually someone there to tell you, that is my problem, no one
walking around.

And if you ask them to tell you when to cross dare you ever treated to
"doesn't the dog know?"--smile

I think that depends on the dog. Most dogs will just watch carefully if
they notice a car coming in the distance. Some won't even mind if you tell
them to go when there is a car several feet in front of you.
It depends on how traffic sensitive your dog is and how stubbern too.
:)

I have the same problem. And then in the summer you have lawn mowing and
other yard machinery. That gets me all the time. Usually, I wait or ask
someone to tell me when it's safe to cross. Sometimes if I think it's
quiet, I go and trust my dog. There's nothing like being late to class, not
because you're actually running late, but because you've been waiting ato
cross a street forever due to construction noise.
