As someone who was in class with you Jessica I am so, so sorry to hear about
your pup!! If you liked the training you received at the school we attended
... then by all means go back!! I know this doesn't look good for your
first dog from there and then she gets sick but things like this happen from
time to time although the school has a excellent vet program!! However, if
you didn't like some things about the training and are looking for vet
assistance with normal maintainence of keeping a guide dog ... then by all
means check out other schools. I have gotten all five of my dogs from the
school we attended and have had great luck with them I just didn't want you
to give up on them b/c your poor little pup got sick. Good luck to you in
which ever school you choose!!

Hi Jessica,
It sounds a lot to me like GDB's program would be best for you. Not to say
that I know everything about every school out there, but I know for a fact
that there programs are 2 weeks long and they use positive reinforcement
with their dogs and they do have a vet assistance program. That doesn't mean
you shouldn't look at all the other options out there, but I am just sharing
what I know.
HTH,
