[nagdu] Managing Groceries and Other Large Purchases

Hi everyone,

We used to have the Peapod service in Fort Worth which worked out well at
the time. Then, Albertsons offered a grocery delivery service, but it didn't
last long.
I guess since so many Texans have cars, the grocery delivery idea never
really took hold.
Fortunately, I live a short bus ride away from a shopping center with a
SuperTarget and a PetsMart. If I have to buy dog food, or large quantities
of groceries, I call a cab so that I can get my purchases home. I also pay
someone to help me with shopping and transportation from time to time.
I like the idea of buying a cart or wagon that can fit on the bus, but I
also like having a free hand when working Gabe.

I also appreciated the information about Amazon, although I've never ordered
groceries.

Enjoy your Sunday.

Liz

I just us my backpack and one arm. If I have a car available, that's
different. I can carry about 8 bags on my arm and maybe 80 pounds of
groceries in the packpack.
