[nagdu] Guide dogs vs smartphone

I would indeed like to live a long, healthy life. I think if I traded in my little yellow guy for a smartphone app, I wouldn't accomplish that goal. I don't think machines can ever replace the brains of the dogs. I will never go back to using a cane full-time, that's for sure, let alone some device that seems to think it's smarter than I or my dog is.
