[nagdu] Nail clippers.

Both sets of clippers I currently have include a guard like that. It
doesn't change to different positions though. So when the guard is in place
you put the nail into the cutting area with the point against the guard and
snip.

Honestly though, I don't like the guard. I prefer to put my finger there,
so I can feel exactly how much nail is sticking out and how much I'm
cutting. The type of clippers I use look like a cross between scissors and
plyers. the handles are like plyers, but the blades are flat and come
together like scissors. The blades are curved, so that when they are open
it makes a hole in the center where the nail to be cut goes.

I also use a Pedipaws sometimes. Recently I've been using the clippers
first to trim and then the Pedipaws to smooth sharp edges. It works. I'm
thinking of getting a nail grinder with more umph though. I like the
grinder better, but mine is slow and stops all together from time to time.

hi all,
someone told me that there was a dog nail clipper where, you can set a gauge
to a specific measurement and there is a guard so that you only clip off
that amount. i went looking for such a thing and can't seem to find it
anywhere.
have any of you ever heard of or used such a clipper? and, if so, how do
you like it?
i just use the plain old fashioned type but, it would be neat to clip them
all exactly the same amount.
thanks for any input.

Vivianna
