Daryl,

Jenny is probably just bored and looking for attention when she
follows you. My dog has the same problem when I'm in my dorm room and
I go to talk to my roommates/people in other rooms. You could try
doing more obedience exercises with Jenny like making her stay for a
longer period of time. I did this with my girl and she's doing a lot
better with staying when I leave her alone in the room

"All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty
recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity:
but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on
their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible." T. E. Lawrence
