[nagdu] guide dog school problem

that is a good point. I would add that college classes, especially the
required ones fill up fast and there is usually a waiting list. I would
talk with the guide dog program and see if there are other options. May be
going during semester break might be an option. It is very risky for you
with college classes and financial aid. Good luck with your decision.

You don't want to do it this way. You'll be behind in the class, and you
won't learn whatever it is you are taking the class to learn.

Hi,
I don't know.
I talked with the college today and they said that it's up to the instructer
as to whether or not I get dropped from the class.
The only thing I can do now is ask my instructer whether or not if I could
still be in class but be put on hold untill I get back from my guide dog
training.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
John Sanders

Is the college's policy to keep students from screwing around? I ask because
people do have life events happen that the school just has to deal with.
I'd at least go talk to someone in charge and have a conversation.

Well, there's nothing you can do about your college's policy, so the best
you can do is to see whether the guide dog schools can speed up your
application process and get you into a class sooner. If not, you might have
to wait until winter break or summer to get your dog.
