[nagdu] crate vs tie-down

Hi Tracy I crate trained walker and he loved his crate. He would even stay in it with the door open because he thought of it as his space. I never liked the idea of tied down because it just seems unfair for the dog to be restricted by his collar in an open space.

Walker would still be happy to be in his crate with the door open except that he is now too big to fit.

I do keep the house puppy proofed and he stays out of trouble. All trash cans are under the cupboards and I keep the counters clear of food.
