[nagdu] Musicians with Guide Dogs

Thank you all for your responses! I'm actually feeling a lot better about this.

I am a classical vocalist, and I kmow that I would not be able to take my dog onstage very often. Just to clarify: It sounds like most of you generally have your dogs onstage. Have you ever had pooblems with directors or conductors who {ere not comfortable with that? What about auditions? Would it be advisable for me to not bring my dog to an opera audition, for example?

For those of you who thach privately, have you ever had students who were uncomfortable with a dog being in the studio?

Also, random question: If you are in a show with costumes that are difficult to manage, it might be difficult to have your dog at dress rehearsals and performances because of dog hair and such. Do you just leave your dog during that time? What if you have dress rehearsals and performancesevery night for over a week? Wouldn't that be hard for the dog?
