Rachel,

I am a professional performing musician and my dog is generally on
stage with me. In one place where I perform regularly, there is an eye hook
in the wall for me to tie him down. In the studio, he did not go into the
live room with me so that we would not have any superfluous noises he might
make from moaning or moving around. What are some of the concerns you have
about this? Please let us know and others will likely have answers for you.

Fraternally yours,

Subject: [nagdu] Musicians with Guide Dogs

Hello, Everyone!

I just had my home interview, but I am still concerned about a few things. I
would like to hear from any musicians on this list, particularly
professional clasical musicians. I am concerned about the practicality of a
guide dog in rehearsals and studios. Any insight would be appreciated.

I really want to get a guide dog, but I need to make sure that it would be
the right decision for both me and the dog.

Cheers!

Rachel
