[nagdu] Taking dogs on ferries/water taxis?

Just don't let them seat you in the pet area. Ginny is not a pet. The fairy
workers here in Seattle have been well educated to just let us pass through
to the seating area or food area. I imagine the same is true in New York
that the workers won't hassle you, but a kind person may want to direct you
to the pet area thinking they are helping you. The fairy's in Seattle are
very nice clean with very kind staff. Someone famous from New York will give
the announcements of how to keep safe emergency protocol. You may or may not
recognize the voices. The last couple times I was on the Seattle fairy's it
was the local weatherman.

Hey think of it, Donald Trump giving the emergency announcements:
"This is Donald Trump with my show coming back on TV January 7 on NBC. You
know I own Trump Towers, Trump Hotel, make sure you stay there so I can make
my next billion. And on this fairy, that I might buy, if you need extra
toilet paper then just let me know. You can use my extra hair."

Boy could I go on with more jokes about that joker, lolol.

Warm hugs,
Becky and Jake

Subject: [nagdu] Taking dogs on ferries/water taxis?

Hi!
I think this question might sound silly...

I live in a landlocked city... the nearest ferry is hours away. because of
this, I have never taken Jenny on one. When we go to New York, hubby and I
would like to take advantage of the all-day water taxi pass, so that we can
spend our first full day in New York relaxing, sightseeing at some museums,
and just getting our bearings. I know that Jenny's puppy raisers took her
on the Sea Bus (commuter ferry in Vancouver), so I know it isn't a complete
foreign concept to her, but for those who use water transportation
regularly, how do you handle it? Is there anything in particular I should
be concerned about?

Thanks!

Daryl and Jenny - New York is getting real!
