Welcome to the list, Ian.
Now five to six miles a day at guide dog school, which school was that, I
want to try it--smile.

Hi all,

When I got Stanley, he was getting 2 cups twice a day.
We of course were walking like 5 to 6 miles a day at guide dog school.

When we got home from school, I realized he was picking up a little weight
because we were not working very hard.

I decided to change his food to a lower fat food & go from 2 cups 2 times a
day to
1 cup 3 times a day.

My reasoning was that I did not want to reduce his food by half, and I
didn't think 1.5 cups twice a day would do him because he was already
getting hungry by 2:00 pm.

I spaced out his meals & reduced each of them & he is holding right around
72 to 73 pounds now.

HTH
Ian
