Monty's coat was made by Cozy Horse. she makes custom horse and dog
blankets. However I recently visited her website and she's not doing custom
coats anymore.
I purchased a coat for Jetta from King Valley Wholesale. I cut slits in it
so I could thread the handle through. I sewed around the edges so it
wouldn't fray. I want the harness underneath the coat. This coat won't be
warm enough, so I purchased some polar fleece that I need to sew in to make
it warmer.
Remember Jetta is a Doberman. She's skinny and doesn't have a double coat.
I live in Nebraska It gets very cold in the winter and the wind blows at 30
mph most days and last winter we had many, many days of 50+mph winds.
If someone finds an off the rack coat that goes on over the harness I would
love to know about it.

Hey!
For those of you who use coats on your dogs in winter, what do you use? How
do you like it? How did you choose it?
I think I have decided on a coat, but no one locally seems to carry it, and
Amazon ironically has a higher price than local stores.
Thanks!
Daryl
