[nagdu] dog names

I've always thought, if I really couldn't stand a dog's name, I should
change it to something that sounds similar, so it wouldn't be as
confusing. So, I could have changed Glade to Grace, for instance.
However, Rox and Mardi explained how to change a name to something
completely different, so, like Nicole said, it's really up to you.
Personally, I wouldn't pick a name everyone calls. Many people think
black labs are named Shadow, and try calling my dog by that name. I
wouldn't like that. But Leader dogs often have usual dog names, and they
do fine.
If I was going to give my dog a new name, I'd try to think what name would
suit her personality. Is she a Daisy? A Jenny? A Queeny? A Princess?
Only you can decide.
