Depends, are you bennifitting from this therapist?
If she's doing a top notch job with whatever you need her to do, then I'd
let it go.
I do wonder about her therapy dog, coupled with her "some clients are
allergic" statement, added with "insurance doesn't like dogs in her office".
What does insurance have to do with it? If dogs aren't "liked in her office"
why does she have a dog in said office?
All this being said, she may be a good therapist for what you need. Finding
a good therapist is tricky, in some ways harder then finding a good physical
doctor since therapy is a soft thing.

Without knowing any more, it's hard to say.

Subject: [nagdu] service dog in a private practice

Hi All!

I see a therapist who happens to have a therapy dog.
Her dog Cody does not get along with other dogs, which means that I can not
bring Jada to therapy with me.
But one day I forgot my cane at home and my therapist told me that Cody
would not be there that day. When I asked my therapist if I could bring Jada
in with me, She said no.
I was confused even more by the next statement of that she has some clients
who are allergic to dogs, and the endurance company she uses doesn't like
dogs in her office.

Should I have fought this or was I right to let it go?
Unfortunately this is now a mute point since i have had to start doing phone
sessions with my therapist, but just curiosity of mine wanting to ask
opinions.

Thanks,
