[nagdu] Uber sued for allegedly refusing rides to the blind and putting a dog in the trunk

Well, there was something in this article that bothered me a little, other than the sloppy editing. This is what it is:

First off, this whole thing is deplorable. The company is public even if they use contractors. They are offering a service to the public, so this is wrong. It is totally inhumane to put a dog in the trunk. But how did the blind individual not realize before they even left the premises that the dog had been placed in the trunk? Did the person relinquish the dog to the driver? Since I am coming into this discussion late and haven’t read much, I may have missed something, so I’m sorry if I did, but that bothers me a lot. This is definitely an issue that we need to pursue, and I mean the whole thing, not just the problem I mentioned.
