[nagdu] An airline question

I know in Canada (not sure about the USA), a visually impaired person cannot occupy an emergency exit row.  I have sat in both aisle and window seats, and I prefer the window myself, especially on long flights.
As for seats, I have been asked if I wish the bulkhead or not.  The first time I flew with Jenny, I chose it, because I thought it might be more comfortable for everybody... NEVER again.  She had almost too much room and sprawled the whole way across the bulkhead.  Thankfully, there was more than enough leg room for me and my seatmates, but Jenny herself was almost too far away for me to have easy access.

Now, on other planes, I have been offered (and accepted) bulkhead seats or first-row-economy seats that offer slightly more room but are not nearly so large. I am a small woman and my dog is a small dog; flying from Edmonton to Denver, I had sufficient leg room even as Jenny shared space under the seat ahead of me with my carry-on backpack.

I will be flying to Toronto in the next couple of weeks, and I know the types of planes this airline uses to fly there, so I will NOT accept a bulkhead seat for this trip.
