Again, my vet was so amazed how well Jake looks, shiny white teeth, weight
sixty four pound, age ten, height twenty four and a half inches tall, fluffy
coat, grin, rotating tires, meaning the vet rotated his hips.  "he is in
great shape Beck" "Keep doing what you are doing," Dr. Gary smiled. Eyes
bright, forgot to add that. He did though give us chews for beginning
arthritis, for our Tomato Head labby.

 

Jake is getting so much better at getting his nails cut. I warned our driver
that sometimes Jake gets dramatic when getting his nails trimmed. So that
isn't a huge shepherd, but one little golden retriever. Like I said Jake was
quiet.

 

There was a lady in the office chewing out the front desk folks. Apparently
she has a fat ten year old dog who just had puppies. Kevin and my eyebrows
went up. First a ten year old dog should not be having puppies. Secondly if
someone said my dog was fat I would say thank you and about how much should
she lose. May I talk this over with Dr. Gary to get her on a better feeding
program. Not act like a fool like this lady did. My first dog was fat, and
of course at first I was offended. I called the school and they told me to
cut him back to two cups a day. When that wasn't taking off much weight I
talked to my vet who was afraid to insult me and patted me on the head,
growl. I was so mad. These email lists helped me stand up to him and I
plainly told him you will never pat me on the head again. Straight talk or
no talk, his choice.    

 

Jake also got his every two year shots. If I had the money to tyder, I would
do that at around seven years old. So every two years will do. My vet
doesn't charge for office visits, nail trims. Just for vaccines, blood
tests, cremation.
