[nagdu] new law in CT?

When I think of how hard I have had to fight for every joint replacement
surgery and the physical therapy afterward, the idea of having to get
approval from health insurance is horrifying. Well, I don't have medical
insurance anyway, but I'd never want to have to depend on them to be
approved to get a dog.

I did the same thing. As I read the bill, a medical professional would
have to recommend a service animal for insurance to pay for it. I wonder
if the schools in Connecticut that train service animals are pushing for
this legislation. Very interesting and worth watching. I don't think it
is in the best interest of dog handlers because many of the services the
schools now provide could be in jeopardy.
