[nagdu] Going to Prison.

Far as I know, Leader, GEB, GDF maybe, and Pilot have prison puppy raiser programs. There may well be others. I understand that at least some of the programs will ask a student if s/he would be willing to work with a prison-raised dog. I've heard nothing but excellent things about these dogs. Yes, they do get exposure to "the outside", going home with prison employees' families on some weekends and things like that. Seriously, if these programs didn't have good, well socialized, stable dogs, do you think the schools would still be using prisoners as puppy raisers some two decades later?
