[nagdu] Country living

Yeah Dan, I agree. I'd love to live in a quieter place, where my neighbors
aren't on top of me, and I could have more garden and maybe some livestock.
But it would make me crazy not to be able to get up and walk to somewhere
different, if I felt like it, or catch a bus, or whatever. So I guess I'll
be staying in town.

Good question. Well let's see when I got my first dog I lived iin sort of a
suburban yet urban area.
I honestly wasn't totally sure where I would go with my dog but I knew I
would find places, if nothing else walk around the neighborhood, go up to
the store, go to the coffee shop and so on Or failing that I had a good idea
of how I could get to places to walk, whether someone taking me or
whatever..
I Probably couldn't have named three routes exactly but I knew I would do
something and I also thought I would have the dog so that I could expand my
horizons even if I didn't have a specific idea of exactly what to do in mind
I mean I knew I wanted to go back to college at some point and do traveling
and I thought a dog could help me which turned out was correct.
.
So it could be like this.
I mean a young dog , the right one, could be happy in a country environment
walking around say the area, up and down country roads, in some walking
route that you develop.

I personally would prefer not to live in the country precisely because as I
see it there is no where to go--lol.
But each person has their own living circumstances.

Personally, I would not at this point in my life move somewhere that I
couldn't do some walking routes and get to places myself from start to
finish, I mean walk out of the house and go somewhere myself without the
necessity of someone giving me a ride, I would find that very restrictive,
but as I say, people have different circumstances and needs and so on.

I was wondering the same thing Tracy.
i work my dog about 2 miles a day, minimum, 6 days a week.
i think that a trained young guide will be bored sitting home all the time.
