[nagdu] Just saw this: Guide dogs and athletes

Hi Cindy yes anyone who got out that day was important. Each person shares
what they want to about a moment of their life. Michael did write a good
story, and shared what a guide dog can do for anyone. I have met him twice,
and listened to him share his story, and it has given me hope that I could
overcome any fears in travel.

I don't travel easily new places, but am working on that at this time with
Kiara.

I will never run with a guide dog, but the ones who do I say good luck and
have fun, and be safe out there.

I heard Mr. Pivera interviewed one time and he seemed very quiet and
unassuming. He was on a lower floor than Michael. Michael's story is truly a
story that is a must read though.

As I understand it Mr.  Pivera didn't want a lot of attention, and chose not
to talk about his ordeal much.  IT's hard for me to even imagine being in
either one of those Towers.  The dog I had at the time was kind of a crazy
dog.  I've often wondered how he would have handled the situation.  I think
Nova would handle a lot, as long as I spoke softly to her, and encouraged
her.  But I 
guess you never know until you're in a specific situation.
