Welcome on board, Andrea.  'Wonderful to hear that things are coming 
together for you and Diane.

I'm a new dog handler in Clearwater, Florida.  My girl is a Lab/Golden 
cross from Guide Dog Foundation in Smithtown, New York. She's 70 lbs. of 
energy, and smart as a whip.

I have RP with very limited central vision.  I was a cane user for 18 
years and it is now such a delight to be able to maneuver through 
crowds, handle stairs easily, get to exit doors, and have Claire find 
traffic buttons and the elevator buttons that architects delight in 
finding clever ways to hide.

My relatives are all from the UK -- Birmingham, Wigan, London, and 
Shoreham-by-Sea near where Diane is now living.
