I also will use these wipes that I have for pets that have allo in them and
wipe pj down.  My girl loves the snow, but not falling on her.  Lol!

Mark, he needs to wear his booties, or you could use something like Mushers
Secret.  Having lived in both Western Oregon and Washingtn state where it
rains a lot, the only thing I can say about that wet dog smell is no,
there's not much you can do about that.  If you groom daily it shouldn't be
too horrible, and once they dry off, they are okay.  I have old towels that
I can use when my dog is really wet to dry her off when owe come inside.
