[nagdu] lawmakers push for pets to be allowed on Amtrak trains

Hello to all,

 

I thought this article might be of interest to many of us. The US is truly
moving toward a more European way of life, allowing pets in more and more
places with their owners. It's a little unnerving though that some in
Congress see this as so important that they are really pressing Amtrak to
put this pet friendly policy in place ASAP. At least these animals would be
in carriers and in a separate car. Now just as long as Amtrak doesn't try
and put people with service dogs in that same car (haha) let them just try
that!
