How do we know Bridget's dog isn't the one causing the problem?

I second Shanna's post.
You must work doubly hard to control your dog, or put the work in to teach
your dog to control himself. This is coming from someone who works a dog on
a daily basis who has a moderate to strong dog distraction, depending on the
day. This means that anytime we pass a dog or a dog passes us, I have to be
on my a-game because 8 times out of ten, my dog won't be. The same goes for
your situation. While your in class, you need to do what you can to control
or restrain your dog.
Position your dog so that you are between the two dogs. Use a head collar to
keep your dog from getting nosy. Reward your dog for any good behavior:
remaining still, keeping to himself, keeping quiet, and so on.
It is incredibly unfortunate that your classmate is uncooperative and will
not also put in the same effort that you must.
Can you perhaps wear something over your eyes so that if you moved seats,
the light wouldn't be such a pain? I really hate making that suggestion,
believe me, but I'm throwing out possible things that you can do
independently.
Best wishes.
