			Think too about how this job will help you in the
future. It will count as work quarters so you can use it if you need to
apply for SSDI in the future, in other words working this job may allow you
to get an increase in your SSDI payments if you need to go down that route. 
Even if you think SSDI is something you'll never do, this assignment could
look good on a resume. 
Finally, what else do you want to do this summer? If you don't take this
job, what will you do with yourself? Do you have travel plans? Do you have
plans beyond the "I'm thinking of going to school this summer" variety? 
If you didn't have this dog, would you take the assignment? Remember, these
dogs are there to help us not hold us back.

If the work environment is sterile, meaning you have to wash immediately
before entering and wear gloves, mask and special clothing, then yes, my
understanding is that your dog could be excluded from your work area.

Hello listers,
I come to you with an interesting issue. My family is pushing me to do the
lite house for the blind summer work program. I'm against it for a variety
of reasons, but one of the most important involves my dog. The job is
packaging medical kits. Because of this, the hr director said my dog can't
be in the work area with me. She can come with me but has to be on tie down
somewhere else in the building. This is why I'm here to ask can they
actually get away with this? Your insight is appreciated.
