Julie,

The members of the NAGDU Board of Directors are as follows along with their term expirations:

Marion Gwizdala, President (2016)
Michael Hingson, Vice President (2017)
Sherrill O'Brien, Secretary (2016)
Antoinette "Toni" Whaley, Treasurer (2017)
James Boehm (2017)
Jessica Snyder (2016)
Tina Thomas (2016)

The minutes and treasurer's reports are given at each board meeting and these meetings are open to the membership. These reports are also available upon request by writing to the secretary or treasurer at one of the following addresses:

Secretary at NAGDU.ORG
Treasurer at NAGDU.ORG

As for your question about the resolutions, it is the policy of the NFB that only those resolutions passed by the Resolutions Committee are released to the membership after they are passed and prior to their introduction to the convention. The issue of ownership has been discussed extensively on this list and was also the topic of a panel discussion during the NAGDU meeting on July 7. Both resolutions were read at this meeting, as well, as it occurred after the resolutions were passed favorably by the committee.

Fraternally yours,
Marion Gwizdala

Subject: [nagdu] NAGDU leadership

I would like to know what the results were on voting for NAGDU leadership positions this year or who the current leaders are. I looked at the website, but there are no terms listed, so I don’t know when it was last updated.

I would also like to know where the minutes from the board meetings can be read.

And I would still like to know why the two resolutions introduced this year were not announced before hand. If not on this list, then by phone conference or some other means. It is extremely clear that there are quite a few people who don’t understand the issue. There are also a number of people who could have talked to people in their state affiliate to educate them on the topic beforehand.

And finally, what positions are up for election next year?
