[nagdu] Toys to take with

Monty likes a stuffed pink elephant. It does have a squeaker in it, but
it's pretty tame. It's a toy that he only gets on trips away from home
because Jetta can not have stuffed toys. Monty has only been able to have
stuffed toys in the past couple of years, before that he would have shredded
it in seconds, literally seconds. I also give him bully sticks on trips
sometimes.

Jetta likes her Nyla bone to chew on. I also take a rope or braided tug toy
for her. She doesn't get rope toys at home anymore because she'll just eat
them. Away from home she will thrash it around for a bit and then settle
down to chew on the Nylabone, at which point I put the rope back in the
suitcase.

I'm curious what toys people bring along when they take a trip, other than a
bone. My last 2 dogs didn't really care, and a bone was plenty. Krokus
likes to race about with a toy, especially when he's had a hard day, so I'm
thinking of bringing a bone and maybe a Kong or rope. Really, he loves to
run with a squeaky, but I don't think I'll bring one. "Take this, neighbor
with screaming baby!" Well, maybe not.

Tracy
