[nagdu] follow Command

Danielle,
I'm Deafblind and I'll tell you what I do.
I first set it up and have her follow. Then I have the person we're following, check back every so often and if they notice her starting to lose track, they will call her name, and that reminds her what she is supposed to be doing.
I know for some people, it's a big no-no for other folks to know or use their dog's name when she's working but my opinion is that we are all different and I do what works for me, which may not work for someone else. I have never had a problem with my dog getting distracted or putting me into danger by someone calling her name.
Good luck!

Outside is easier for her. However, I need her to be able to do this because I cannot hear people from hardly any distance. So she needs to be able to consistently follow. She can do it when I can hearand also tell her directions but when I can't hear she can't do it.

My dog is not a natural following and is still struggling with this skill. How can I make following more motivating for her. I may be going to fast for hg to grasp the concept? She has successfully done it some but not consistently.
