Do you have one of those wraps for dogs that are scared of thunder, Thunder
Shirt or knock off brand? That is an idea, just don't make it real tight so
the wound can get air to heal. You could try a t shirt which might take her
mind off the itchy place. Put boots on her back paws with the t shirt so all
she will do is move around the t shirt, if just the t shirt doesn't work.
Splinting the leg, never thought of that one, but you need to do something
when you are not there to supervise. Remember praise her when she is not
scratching softly.

Any other brain storming ideas out there for Dawni?

Subject: [nagdu] Suggestions Needed for Covering a Wound to Prevent
Scratching Later

Hi, Everyone.
Peggy has a skin tag under her right shoulder blade that she scratched open
last week. I got some ointment for it from the vet and need to kno
1) If anyone has ideas on how to keep the wound covered so the ointment
doesn't get rubbed off and can do its job.
2) What I can do to keep the dressing in place.

Looking forward to any suggestions.

Thanks,
Dani
