I wouldn't do it. I would only take thee dog where I knew the dogs, but this
is just me. I let Fisher run in my daughteer's yard with her dogs because it
iss fenced, but I don't want to risk other dogs. I am very conservative
about free running I'm afraid though.

hi elese. we don't have any dog parks here as such. but we do take callie to
a park for a run once a week. it is all part of the training program here.
we r given a whistle which we blow on 3 times and then when the dog comes
back the dog is given a treat. the dogs also wear bells on their collars. i
rarely have to use my whistle with callie. her recall is very good and she
always stays close by. personally i wouldn't give her a free run on my own
though. for 1 thing we have to drive to the park so my parents bring us once
a week. we r also told once or twice a week is enough for a free run. hope
that helps :)

I trust all of you because you have guide dogs. Do you think they are good
for our guides or should Becky and I stay away? My husband would go with
us, if you think they are alright. He is sighted. Tell me what you think.
