Oh gosh. I'm glad he's okay. My Liberty is the same way. We'll be walking
along and she won't even break stride. She just grabs something on the way
by.

Subject: [nagdu] Krokus is OK

The vet discharged Krokus last night around 7:00. He said Krokus will bee
sleepy for a day or 2 and shouldn't work, (no driving or operating heavy
equipment). He was still a bit wobbly last night, but mainly really tired.
So he's having a nice rest.

Now I have to figure out how to teach the young idiot not to try to eat
everything he sees. I'll call TSE and see if they have any ideas, which
they haven't really so far. I may have to get a basket muzzle. I'm not too
happy about that. The GL works OK when we're walking, but I'm pretty sure
he picked up the marijuana in the street where I took him to relieve before
going into my office. When he's sniffing around for a spot to pee, the GL
doesn't work so well.

I have tried putting food on the ground where I know where it is and
correcting him for going for it. He ignores it fine for a bit, then grabs
it like lightning just when I think he's being good. He did the same when
the trainer was here to work on it, and she couldn't stop him, either. I'd
welcome any better ideas.

Before I switched to TSE, I never thought I'd use a pinch collar or a basket
muzzle. Think again, Grasshopper.

Tracy
