[nagdu] Dremel?

Hey!
We actually had some success with the Dremmel tonight!

I started with putting the tool on her bed, or in front of her, or in front of me, or just holding it, and treating each time she came up to me or the tool... even putting the treat on top of the Dremmel.

Jenn has 1-2 claws that need filing down, so we started small. Jenny wasn't a big fan, but let hubby file it down while I gave her her favourite treats. Then, afterward, she came running around the table to me, sniffed the Dremmel, and wagged her tail crazily!

She gets it in her head something's scary, and sometimes we've found that just making her face it with treats makes it less scary :)

Daryl and Jenny, who has a new bed and filed nails to prepare for her birthday tomorrow!

Hi! You might just let her sniff it without it being on, maybe give her a treat when you show it to her, and then turn it on and just leave it on for a few seconds, and then slowly increase the time it's on, and decrease the distance. It may take some days for her to get used to it. But you don't want to push it too fast if she's afraid of it already, because that will just make it worse. Peace, Debby with Neena
