Hi Abigail.
If she never acted this way before, has something changed? Are either of
you having extra stress right now? Are you visiting your mother, or have you
recently moved?

Hi all,
So, about half an hour ago I found chocolate wrappers and a bag of chocolate
on the floor. They had previously been on an end table, or my mother has
always kept chocolate and candy, Jaden has been taught and respected the
fact that jumping on the end tables for the sweets are is an acceptable, and
has never done it before now. She is now going to be on leash or in a crate
or on a tiedown 24 seven. She hates this, but I feel like it's the only way
to keep her safe and out of things she shouldn't be in. I also caught her in
the trashcan this afternoon, something she hasn't done since I was actually
at the guy dog school receiving her.
Is this just a midlife crisis that she's going through? She is going to be
five after all, that's 35 in dog years. Isn't that when midlife crises
usually happen? :-)

right at the dog's level. However, if I leave food on my kitchen counter, my
dog had better not jump up there and eat it. He knows jumping on the counter
is unacceptable.
