        Hello:

When I got Tara from GDF in 2008 most everyone received ownership.  There 
was a gentlemen that the trainers had some concerns about. They gave him 
custody and he would have the opportunity to obtain ownership as his work 
and confidence with his dog improved with the help of follow-up visits from 
the training staff.  That is my recollection of the ownership versus custody 
issue.

Hi everyone,
All my dogs have come from GDF. I have had ownership right after
graduation. The trainer usually asks what you want. I don't know is
things have changed there as I have Anna 6 years come this May but I
have friends who just graduated so I will ask them.
