Lisa, when you are in your apartment and people come to your 
door, put him on leash.  Then you will have better control.  
Since I never have my dog off leash except in our fenced yard, 
I'm not sure what to tell you to do to control him.  When I did 
live in apartments, I always had my dog on leash there, even when 
going to the mailbox, because then I always knew what she was 
doing.  But definitely when someone knocks on your door, put his
