Rox,
Silly Sun Dog! Could it be that your workplace is boring for her? Mitzi
is quite the go girl, but would slow down when she realized we were
going someplace boring. She's also the Queen of Finding Things but is
incapable of finding home or the car somehow... She wants to go and if
it involves not going... Never mind! /lol/ I realized she had truly
started slowing down, in fact, when she didn't slow down on the way home
because she was ready for a rest.
If the problem is that the office is just the boring same-old-same-old,
you might be able to find a way to spice up arriving there enough that
she will get you there in time for some fun or whatever. There's also
the good old treat pouch. /smile/ With Mitzi, I would allow her to sniff
at a favorite spot if she reached it without slowing down. That was in a
familiar area where I could feel safe that she wouldn't find something
awful to eat while sniffing, so I could use that for a reward. Since her
slow down was on the way home, I could play rowdy with her when I got
there and do lots of silly fun stuff that might not go in the
professional environment. /lol/
Has anything negative occurred at work that might give her an actual
aversion to the place? Are there people who interact in a way she might
find stressful or something like that?
That's about all I can think of, and it may not be anything new.
Good luck. I would love to hear what you figure out and how you solve
the problem.

We walk between a mile to three miles before work daily, depending on if we take the fixed route bus or walk the whole way, then we walk that same amount after work, plus we frequently do canicross and or bikejoring/scooterjoring in addition. So she's not lacking in exercise.
