Wish I had been able to do that with Lamar.  But I was under so 
much pressure myself that I couldn't do it.  I was just 
struggling with being at CCB, sometimes, and then to have a dog 
who wouldn't work on top of it was just not a good situation.  
I'm being honest here, it's too late for him, and Neena's gone, 
and I feel bereft.  I just want my Neena back.  But she's not 
mine anymore.  And it's easy to overlook her faults and all, now 
that she's not here.  For instance, it was very hard for her to 
settle down, even after working.  She'd either be wanting Lamar 
to play, hassling the cat to play, or trzing to get Craig or me 
to throw her ball.  She was getting better about all of that, 
kind of.  Most other dogs I've had were satisfied to play for 
fifteen to 30 minutes and then they would stop of their own 
accord.  Thez might come back for play again, later but it wasn't 
a constant thing of needing attention all the time.  Sigh.  I 
wish I could just snap my fingers and be over this.    Debby
