Hi.
i thought it was a good blog post.
more folks should think about stuff like this before committing to a guide dog.
especially the independence part. it’s not the dog that makes you an independent person, they will enhance it sure, but, not make it so.
i know a woman who has a guide dog, she still goes nowhere, never goes on walks, never takes public transit, etc. her dog did not make her independent. and, when she does go somewhere, she takes somebody’s arm.
come to think of it, i know several people like the above. heh.
