[nagdu] age of guide dog maturity

hi john. interesting question. i suppose it wwould depend on the dog. my dog was 2 when i got her so pretty mature. normally here in ireland they qualify as guide dogs between 18 months and 2. i know some people that think 18 months is too young. i have a friend who got her dog at 15 months but she felt the dog was too immature but it all worked out anyway.
