[nagdu] restaurants and cafes

When I am sitting anywhere, including at a restaurant, my dog is lying under the chair, if possible, or under the table. I make a long leash, place my foot on the leash close to my dog’s collar, and wrap the rest of the leash around my leg, tucking the end under my thigh. This way, if my dog stands, I am able to control him without my hands.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
