[nagdu] males and females

One of the worst humpers I had was a female. I had a male who would mark
things, and I didn't know he was doing it so I couldn't stop him. He was my
first dog.

I got my first male in 1985. He was about 70 pounds, and was the best dog
I've ever had. His pull was perfect, and he didn't pee on anything.
The biggest male I had was a 75-pound shepherd. The smallest is Ben, about
55 pounds, one of TSE's micro-dogs. He did try marking things, but I put a
stop to that sharpish. Krokus is around 60 pounds, though he's still
filling out. I don't expect him to be more than 65 pounds. He doesn't pull
hard; in fact, I've been working on getting him to step it out more. He can
usually be controlled verbally. He doesn't pee on things unless I've missed
his signal and he just can't wait, which doesn't happen much now that I know
him better. And, as for humpers, I've known both male and female, though my
dogs have never been big on it.

Dear Sandra,

I think the previous males were larger; I don't know about stronger or
anything else having only had my current male dog two years, but he is only
about 70 pounds. He is strong, but I'm not sure he is all that much
stronger, but I have some back issues that make it appear so. Fortunately,
most of the time, I can control him with my voice; he tends to be worse at
pulling when he is retiring; he does not lift his leg nor does he pee on
most things--sniff them yes--but pee no.

I am certainly not diminishing your experiences merely wondering if anyone
can verify that the schools are breeding some smaller males and ones with a
more laid-back temperament.
